Located in the Bell’s Flats neighborhood in Kodiak, Flats Java offers delicious cafe-like beverages like coffee, smoothies, and teas; they also offer food like muffins, sandwiches, and yogurts. Besides providing lovely scenery, Java Flats takes pride in handcrafting a unique cozy atmosphere that has delighted many since 2008.
However, modern times have made Java Flats design a new way to offer their products and services: an online ordering platform.Take-outs/Online ordering has a significant demand in Kodiak, so this was a great move from this cafe. To keep its efficiency and meet the demand, Java Flats took uo sauce from the little dining room t install a second food line and expand the baking area.
This move was a game-changer for the establishment after many years of being overcapacity in the small kitchen. Though the community space is well missed, Java Flats still treats its clients with wholesome meals and drinks and has plans to expand its space and welcome new customers.
